This kit is awesome. It stripped this drill rod box with 2 bags of Black Beauty medium grit and a 4400 psi 4.8 gpm Harbor Freight gas powered washer. Play sand with a 2200 psi electric 1.8 gpm did not work well. I am very happy and impressed. It took no more than 1/2 hr to strip the whole front.
I received it a few days ago, opened everything up, and all parts were there with no damage. I have not used it yet.

Good buy! A few basic tips helped make it work well. 1. Make sure the sand is very dry; I spread mine on a tarp in the hot sun and let it dry so it flows correctly. 2. I’m really pleased with how my 78’ Ford frame turned out after blasting.
Bought one 8 months back and finally tried it on an oil pan using a bag of play sand from Home Depot. I set the sand bucket 3’ above the workpiece and it pulled sand like it was in a hotdog eating contest. Then I warmed the pan with propane to remove moisture and primed everything in one step. Very happy—it worked well.
I fully take back my earlier comment that this company was fake. The product is absolutely real. When I questioned a shipping mix-up, a real person contacted me, answered my concerns, and fixed the issue. They were sincere in their apology and very humble about it.

Here’s a real review. I have the 3000psi kit and the 5000psi kit. I bought a metal trash can and set a window-screen mesh over it to sift rocks from play sand. VERY IMPORTANT STEP this keeps clogged tips from becoming frustrating. Keep the sand feed hose on top while blasting so water does not get into the line when you stop spraying. Does it work 100% After spraying, it leaves a gold oxidation. Before prepwork, remove it with Ospho or Chemprime, a phosphoric acid that helps etch the metal so Direct to metal (DTM) primer bonds properly. I love this thing. Y’all should send me a new kit because my nozzles are just about done... I put it to the test on my 1972 Cutlass.
I own one; just be careful because all your friends will want to borrow it or bring you things. It made me a believer. I did a rim from a 1964 f350 that had never been cleaned. In 7 minutes it was down to bare metal.

I just finished door jambs, doors and more on a 1969 Chevelle. Messy, but effective... starting the body this week. I changed the sand feed line to a larger size because it kept clogging with wet sand near the nozzle. Small pebbles were an issue too. Use the finest sand you can find. I still had to sift it. The larger sand feed line made a huge difference.
I’ve tried a couple different versions of this. It needs a decent-size pressure washer and water supply to run, and it goes through media pretty quickly. That said, it usually leaves a solid finish, and you’ll need a plan to prevent flash rust when you are done.
I first discovered this watching YouTube videos about pressure washing with a sandblast attachment. I spent under $300 for the pressure washer and this sandblast attachment, bought a 40lb bag of media for under $10, and used a tarp to collect and reuse the media. I blasted my own 1970 GM A-body frame on plastic sawhorses, on a car trailer, in my backyard, and there was no harmful dust to breathe or messy cleanup to handle. My frame came out like new, then I primered and painted it with rattle cans as a driver vehicle! Best tool I’ve ever owned!

Setup order is important: always pull the trigger and start water flow before placing the suction head into the sand, and when you stop, lift the suction head out first, then let go of the trigger. Keep the sand hose as upright as possible (around the 12 o’clock position) and raise the sand bucket about 3 feet off the ground for better suction. Dry, filtered sand is essential; even one damp clump can block the system. This is the step most often missed in a pressure washer sandblaster DIY setup.
Use dry, coarse-grade blasting sand — avoid play sand or beach sand because they are often too fine, too smooth, or too damp and can clog the system. Different jobs need different media: coarser grits strip heavy rust and thick coatings, while finer grits work better for lighter prep work or softer surfaces such as wood.
